The Club exists to encourage and facilitate the enjoyment of gardens and gardening by its members.
Our aim is to provide bi-monthly events for members and their guests. These occasionally consist of talks by experts, usually held in the Small Barn at Loudwater Farm, but mostly we have visits by coach to explore gardens further afield.
Recent visits have been to Ascott House and Gardens near Tring, a trip to the RHS Gardens at Hyde Hall and Wrest Park in Bedfordshire.
Once a year, in November, we hold our popular Gardeners’ Question Time, with a team of experts to answer all your gardening queries. This event includes a buffet and a certain amount of gluhwein.
You don’t have to be a keen gardener to belong. Our events appeal both to plant enthusiasts and those who just enjoy visiting beautiful and interesting gardens in good company.
Garden Club events take place on the fourth Wednesday in the month and membership costs just £10 per annum.
